Dine With a Jedi at Disney’s Star Wars Weekends!!

HUGE news for Star Wars fans! Today Disney released TWO all new character dining experiences for Star Wars Weekends! Our agents have been hard at work securing these incredible options for our clients!

The first is Jedi Mickey’s Star Wars Dine–  Fans will join Jedi Mickey, Leia Minnie, Darth Goofy, Stormtrooper Donald and Ewok Chip and Dale for dinner at Hollywood and Vine in Hollywood Studios Park. The seatings for this dinner will begin at 4:15 and will run until the park closes.

There is also a Star Wars Galactic Dine-In Breakfast where you can start your day with an out of this world breakfast at Sci-Fi Cafe in Hollywood Studios Park!  Join Stormtroopers, Jawa, Greedo, Bobo Fett and the dark one himself, DARTH VADAR at this incredible NEW dining option!

The price of the breakfast experience is $47.99 for adults and $29.99 for children. The dinner experience is $55.99 for adults and $33.99 for children, or as part of the Fantasmic! Pirate and Pals Fireworks Cruise– On this adventure guests set sail from the Contemporary Resort for swashbuckling fun on an amazing cruise throughout the Seven Seas Lagoon.  After a bounty of snacks and beverages, the pirate crew sets sail on an adventure complete with songs, trivia, games and prizes. The big finale is an anchor drop in a truly magical spot for a unique and spectacular view of the Wishes Fireworks extravaganza! Dive Quest– If diving is your passion Disney invites you to take the plunge at Caribbean Coral Reef- a 5.7 million gallon saltwater aquarium in EPCOT. The experience lasts for 3 hours, and 40 minutes of this will be spent on the actual dive. This is an amazing opportunity to swim alongside over 6,000 beautiful sea creatures including sea turtles, angelfish, dolphins, eagle rays and sharks. Dive Tip- you must be SCUBA certified for this truly unique experience!($175) For those who seek a non- SCUBA certified experience, the EPCOT Seas Aqua Tour ($140) offers a scuba-assisted snorkel unit that will keep you afloat and supplied with piped air as you explore the beauty of the water from just below the surface!

Learn to Surf!– Work on your skills at Typhoon Lagoon and hang ten at your own surfing lessons! Experienced surfers can rip and curl through a session that includes up to 100 waves broken in to sets of 25, and can even choose the break direction (left or right)! There is a maximum of 25 surfers per session, and sessions are held before and after park hours. If you are new to the board you can take a surfing lesson before the park opens ($165). At this lesson you can start from scratch or get pointers from the pros, either way you could be riding waves up to 6ft high faster than you can say ‘Aloha’!

Characters in Flight– If you have ever glanced skyward at Downtown Disney, you may have noticed this next experience painting the sky with color! The hand painted Aéro30 helium balloon holds up to 30 people per ‘flight’. For 8-10 minutes you will soar high above the grounds of Downtown Disney to bask in one of the most breathtaking views of the Walt Disney World Theme Parks and Resorts. Priced from $12 per child to $18 per adult, this is one experience you won’t want to miss!

Archery at Fort Wilderness– Guests 7 and older can take aim at this unique learning experience at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort. If you have never before learned the art of archery, you can aim for the bull’s-eye with a compound bow! Each participant receives personalized advice from the Archery Guides to help hone your archery skills. ($39)

Richard Petty Driving Experience– This truly unique experience satisfies any need for speed with a rush of adrenaline! The NASCAR inspired racetrack offers guest anywhere from 3-50 high speed laps around the track.
